Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of JB Autowerx’s products and services.

By engaging with our services or purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by these terms.

 

2. Services Provided
JB Autowerx offers vehicle security solutions, including but not limited to:

  • Trackers & Telematics

  • Immobilisers

  • Alarms

  • Dashcams

  • Apple CarPlay Installation

  • Motorhome & Caravan Security

  • In-Car Entertainment

 

3. Appointments and Cancellations
3.1. Customers must provide at least 24 hours' notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling.

A cancellation fee of 50% will apply if the appointment is cancelled within this period.
3.2. JB Autowerx reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case customers will be notified promptly.

 

4. Payments, Pricing, and Deposits
4.1. Payment is required in full to complete the booking.
4.2. Prices are subject to change without prior notice, but confirmed bookings will not be affected.
4.3. JB Autowerx accepts payment via cash, bank transfer, and approved card payments.
4.4. Payments and deposits are non-refundable unless JB Autowerx is unable to fulfil the service.

 

5. Warranty and Liability
5.1. All installations and products come with a minimum warranty as stated by the manufacturer, covering manufacturing defects and installation issues.
5.2. The warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, unauthorised modifications, or improper maintenance.
5.3. JB Autowerx is not liable for any consequential damages resulting from the failure or malfunction of installed products.
5.4. JB Autowerx is not liable for any existing faults present in the vehicle prior to installation.

 

6. Customer Responsibilities
6.1. Customers must ensure that their vehicle is available and accessible at the agreed location and time.

6.2. Customer must ensure that their vehicle is clean and presentable at the time of installations
6.3. It is the customer's responsibility to notify JB Autowerx of any pre-existing faults or modifications to the vehicle that may affect the installation process.

 

7. Returns and Refunds
7.1. Refunds are only available for defective products within the warranty period.
7.2. Custom or special-order items are non-refundable unless proven faulty.
7.3. Labour charges are non-refundable once installation has been completed.

 

8. Privacy and Data Protection
8.1. JB Autowerx respects customer privacy and ensures that personal data is handled securely in compliance with GDPR.
8.2. Customer details will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where required by law.

 

9. Limitation of Liability
9.1. JB Autowerx shall not be held liable for loss, theft, or damage to the customer’s vehicle unless due to negligence.
9.2. Customers are responsible for securing their own insurance coverage for installed products where necessary.

 

10. Governing Law
10.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
10.2. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
